I’m sure you have already seen many online beauty rankings. I often trust them, which, as it turned out, was a mistake. They usually glorify one brand that sponsors the entire article. So I decided to create an objective ranking, based on my own experiences to help you choose the perfect mascara!
How did I create my ranking of the best mascaras?
I have to admit that when buying products advertised in the rankings, I was repeatedly disappointed with the results I achieved. The problem of sticky or stiff lashes, unevenly coated with mascara is nothing new to me. That’s why I decided to create a list not inspired by any brand collaboration!
I mainly considered those aspects that are most important to me in mascara. I believe that the best mascara should:
- precisely separate the lashes;
- lengthen and thicken the lashes and give them a nice curl;
- last all day without smudging on the eyelid;
- have a well-shaped brush so that application is easy and pleasant.

Ranking – 4 mascaras worth buying!
I ordered 4 products that received good online reviews and are generally praised by the users. I tested them for a few days to get back to you with my honest feedback!
1. Nanolash mascara
The first product I tested was Nanolash mascara. What’s more, I also decided to put this product first on my list. You may ask why. Well, for a simple reason. For me, this is a premium quality product.
The Nanolash mascara comes in two versions. There is Nanolash Volume Up Mascara, which is a thickening mascara, and Nanolash Length & Curl Mascara, which is a lengthening and curling mascara. With such variety, all of you can choose the product that suits your needs best!
My attention was also very quickly drawn to the silicone, perfectly shaped brush. Thanks to it, I could easily reach even the shortest lashes which were usually problematic for me. The durability of Nanolash mascara is also a big advantage. It stayed on my lashes without flaking throughout the day. In a word, I can truly recommend this mascara!
2. Lashcode Mascara
Another product that is noteworthy in my view is Lashcode Mascara. This is a highly pigmented product that evenly coats the lashes from root to tip. The mascara has lengthening and thickening properties and this is clear from the first application.
I have absolutely no complaints about the brush. It’s perfectly shaped, made of silicone, and is easy to operate. Lashcode Mascara also features exceptional longevity, as does the mascara from Nanolash.
3. Isadora Flashing Volume Mascara
Isadora Flashing Volume Mascara is a product that worked for me well, although it didn’t quite win me over. At the outset, I will point out that the mascara is truly decent. It applies well and lifts the lashes while adding volume. The brush is also not a problem with this mascara. It allows you to apply the product evenly.
The drawback for me, however, is the longevity of Isadora Flashing Volume Mascara. After just a few hours, I noticed some residues on my upper eyelid, and by the end of the day, this mascara simply began to smudge. I can’t hide the fact that this situation strongly discouraged me from using it, although I can’t undermine the effective performance of this mascara.
4. Max Factor 2000 Calorie Mascara
The next place goes to Max Factor 200 Calorie Mascara. As a rule, this mascara is supposed to make the lashes longer and ensure the effect of false lashes. I tested it. Well… it did nothing spectacular when it came to lengthening or thickening the lashes. However, it gets a big plus for the brush which is specially shaped to make application easier.
As for the longevity of the product, I also have some reservations. It just so happened that it rained heavily the day I applied it. I arrived at work with my makeup all smudged. Unfortunately, I think the Max Factor mascara still has a lot of room for improvement in this aspect.
Which mascara is ultimately worth choosing?
I have introduced all 4 mascaras now. I have described in detail their advantages and disadvantages, hoping that this will help you make the right decision. I, however, will not be able to choose for you.
As for me, the Nanolash mascara turned out to be the absolute leader. This product features everything that I was looking for and expected from a mascara. This mascara is long-wear, efficient, and ensures extremely satisfactory results.
I can’t say that the other products presented here are not worthy of your attention. However, they do have their downsides that I did not notice with Nanolash mascara. This is undoubtedly a mascara that I’ve been looking for a long time.
