Hey there!
I devote today’s post to hair care. You asked me about my favorite products so I’ll give you all the essential details about them. I’m going to share the best hair masks that I have used so far. Some of them gave me spectacular effects while others had some negatives. You’ll know everything by reading on!
What is my hair like?
A few words on my strands for a start. They’re quite typical, neither thick nor thin but very dry and prone to frizz. They’re dull and feel rather coarse. I’m sure many of you would say the same about your hair. You often write messages saying “my hair is damaged“. Don’t worry, though. There’s hope! Mine recovered thanks to the masks below. However, some of them caused a little trouble.
NANOIL Keratin Hair Mask
This hair mask swept me off my feet. My hair loves it the most, and I’m finishing my third jar now! There are a couple of reasons why I believe it’s the best hair mask. It has a short list of ingredients which have wonderful effects. At first the Nanoil mask finally liberated me from the dryness and dullness, and over time, it made my hair shine beautifully as well as feel supple and smooth. Nanoil Keratin Hair Mask produces amazing long-term effects because it manages to enhance the inside of hair by penetrating deeply. This translates to revived and regenerated tresses. Beyond that, my hair ends no longer split or break off. I love the consistency of the mask, quite thick but a little goes a long way. That’s why one jar – 300 ml – lasts me very long while the price is easy on the pocket. On the basis of my tests and what I’ve achieved, I have no doubts Nanoil is the best mask for damaged hair.

KIEHL’S Olive Fruit Oil Deeply Repairative Hair Mask
If your hair is very dry then this mask will change that almost right off. I love the deep moisturizing and nourishing effect after the first use. When it comes to longer treatment, KIEHL’S Olive Fruit Oil Deeply Repairative Hair Mask stops the hair from looking dull and delivers beautiful shine – avocado oil and lemon extract take credit for that! This mask is creamy and pleasant to apply. However, a large amount of it is necessary to produce any effects. What I like is I can use it on the scalp too, and the time is up to me – it can be left in from three minutes to even half an hour. Naturally the longer the better.
PHYTO Phytokeratine Extreme Mask
This product caught my eye because it’s advertised as a cream. I tested it and think its effect and consistency shows it’s yet another mask. PHYTO Phytokeratine Extreme Mask comes with an easy-to-use pump applicator. It’s designed for damaged strands to improve their condition as well as appearance. Firstly it makes them smoother and more supple, and, gradually, revitalizes the hair from within and prevents further damage. I really liked PHYTO Phytokeratine Extreme but it’s definitely overpriced for such a small bottle (only 100ml). That’s why I prefer the above products – they have similar or even better effects and are bigger and more budget-friendly.
OUAI Thick Hair Treatment Masque
I also decided to try out a OUAI Masque which has been made specially for thick tresses. To be honest, I bargained for some miraculous results for such a high price while what I got was a superficial effect, not enough. Right after rinsing my hair smells lovely and is more shiny and manageable. The mask also moisturizes it. However, the other products that I review work more deeply, enhancing the hair greatly. I’m not saying OUAI Thick Hair Treatment Masque is all bad and I sometimes use it, mostly as a priming styler. I definitely like the natural formula and recyclable packaging.
GOLDWELL Kerasilk Control Intensive Smoothing Mask
This mask will come useful mostly for those who have frizzy hair or their styling routine is problematic. An intensively-smoothing effect is what you’ll feel after the very first use. Just use the mask sparingly; it left my strands weighed down and greasy a couple of times. If you use the right amount it will make your strands easier to style, plus heighten the gloss. Though it contains both keratin and silk, it didn’t improve the condition of my hair much. GOLDWELL Kerasilk Control Intensive Smoothing Mask is available in two sizes, 200 ml and 500 ml. I bought the bigger jar because it was a better value for money. I recommend it to you too. You won’t see the bottom of the jar for many months!
Girls, the list includes all products I wanted you to know. They’re the most recommended hair masks. I love some of them but have some objections to others. Still, I’m not surprised they’re highly rated because they’re really good cosmetics.
What’s the best hair mask you’ve used? Is it one from my round-up? <3
