A face serum is useful for everyone. It is an unusual cosmetic which not only makes the face look better but also strengthens the skin from within. Thanks to regular application, your skin will keep young and firm for longer. You often ask me about the best serums and that’s how I came up with an idea for today’s post. I recommend a vitamin C serum to everyone who’s never used any face serums. By reading on, you’ll see my TOP 4 products. They’ve worked best for my complexion.
Serum vs skin
My skin is really problematic, oily T-zone, irritations, plus sensitivity… It is really demanding and most skincare products fail. The four top picks proved remarkable, though. I know they are great for less problematic complexions as well so I’m sure each of you will be happy with the results as much as I am. Check them out!
MY TOP 4 VITAMIN C FACE SERUMS
#1 Nanoil Vitamin C Serum
The first pleasant surprise came quickly – while placing an order! I love the great price for a 50-ml bottle which lasted me for many months of regular use. I could see it would go well with my skin after the very first application. It didn’t trigger any reactions and even soothed the irritations I had. Still, the greatest effect was fixing the uneven skin tone I’d been bothered by. Over time, Nanoil’s serum strengthened my skin and made it more resistant to imperfections. The lines on my forehead are barely there and the skin is soft, firm and I’m sure it will preserve young looks for many years. On top of that, Nanoil Vitamin C Serum adds amazing radiance to my face – the effect lasts all day. The infused form of vitamin C – ethyl ascorbic acid – matters greatly because it is both powerful and skin-friendly.
I guess there’s one more thing you’d like to know – the formula is free of oils, parabens and unnecessary preservatives, while water is a base ingredient. As a result, the serum is weightless and sinks in very quickly, not leaving any marks or greasiness.
The wonderful effects, attractive price and big bottle made Nanoil serum my top choice. I use it the most often.

#2 Sesderma C-VIT Liposomal Serum
The Sesderma Liposomal Serum will work out well for every skin type as well. We hit it off right away! It’s excellent if you want to soothe irritated skin or lighten discoloration on the face. Again, ethyl ascorbic acid is used. The formula also contains a ginkgo extract which brilliantly enhances weak capillaries helping get rid of redness and spider veins. I can’t give you any details, though, because I don’t have such problems. Sesderma is also a great rejuvenating serum which lessens signs of aging. It makes the face smooth and a bit shiny.
It also has a light texture, is based on water, sinks in well and doesn’t cause a sticky feel, which matters to me enormously. Too bad it costs a lot.
#3 Lumene Valo Glow Boost Essence
If you want glowing skin, I definitely recommend Lumene Valo Glow Boost Essence. I like to use it in the morning because it allows the face to stay radiant all day. Beyond that, it is a great moisturizer. The effect of vitamin C is slightly less intensive in this serum because of many other components. Still, they’re valuable too. It’s vitamin A and E, hyaluronic acid, and arctic water! I like to use it because it gives me a better-looking face. I usually apply it in the morning, choosing a more intensive serum before sleep. I’m really happy with the results.
Lumene Valo Glow Boost Essence comes in a 30-ml bottle. The prices differ on the Internet but you can find it for a quite budget price. The serum has a very nice citrus scent.
#4 Clinique Fresh Pressed Daily Booster Vitamin C
A low price tempted me to carry out some tests! Sadly it turned out it was just a mini-size version with only 8.5 ml. The standard version has a very high price… I’ll stick to the travel-size bottle. To be honest, the application is a bit complicated because you need to mix vitamin C with emulsion yourself. I got used to it after a few uses. Clinique Fresh Pressed Daily Booster contains pure vitamin C which works the most intensively but it may also cause irritations, which happened to me. The skin burnt and next broke out after the first use. Luckily, it passed after a few applications, and the skin got glowing and free of pigmentation spots.
Unfortunately, we need at least four bottles for full treatment, which obviously puts a strain on the budget. Clinique Fresh Pressed Daily Booster Vitamin C is an innovative serum and that’s why I included it in my ranking.
These were my top 4 vitamin C serums. Each one is unusual and I like them all. If I were to choose just one, it would probably be Nanoil because it gives me the best effects and brings many benefits.
Please share the names of your beloved vitamin C serums so I can test them too <3
